As a typical boy with his toys, Eastwood jumped at the opportunity to be part of a job that involved what he gleefully describes as “destruction and blowing stuff up”. As with any shoot, a great amount of preparation was involved and Eastwood and his team spent two of the three-day shoot setting up and testing.

As with any shoot, a great amount of preparation was involved and Eastwood and his team spent two of the three-day shoot setting up and testing.
  • They were faced with the massive challenge of not only creating the right level of destruction, but also freezing it at exactly the right moment. “This involved a range of different gauged projectiles, fine tuning laser triggers and then adjusting the delay on the flash by thousandths of a second,” Eastwood explains. Despite its inherent challenges however, Eastwood admits it was more fun and games than blood, sweat and tears. “We got to blow stuff up. We never got tired of it!”
