Last year, he was successful in various photography competitions including the Australian Professional Photography Awards. He is also a past Australia’s Top Emerging Photographer category winner.

“Many of the folios lacked original ideas or ways of seeing, and just showed me things that I have already seen many times before. Ideas are the most important part of photography for me.”

“Try to employ fewer tricks, such as long exposures, and less editing, and instead try waiting for the right light.”

“For participants entering compositions on subject matter tackled in recent times by many leading pros, please remember that as judges we would have seen most of the pro photos; participants would need a different, strong approach with their images that had immediate impact.”
