Melbourne and the world is currently experiencing a renaissance with traditional film photography.

The gallery has assembled 50+ prints by some of the most important figures of that century and placed them on the walls. There is three masterpieces, Marc Riboud’s Washington, Eddie Adams’ Death of a Vietcong suspect and Arnold Newman’s Stravinsky alongside important works by Cartier-Bresson, Weegee, W Eugene Smith and so many more.

Melbourne: 28 Nov 2025 – 26 May 2026. The exhibition celebrates the wide-ranging photographic practices of more than eighty women artists working between 1900 and 1975.
