Wedding Workshop: Sydney

Thanks to everyone who attended our 2019 wedding workshop series in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in September. We plan to bring you more workshops next year. Keep an eye on capturemag.com.au for more details in 2020.

SYDNEY-WORKSHOP

Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to join award-winning wedding photographer Ashley K and Capture editor Marc Gafen during a practical wedding portrait shoot and get your hands on the ground-breaking new Panasonic Lumix S1 full-frame mirrorless camera.

Our Sydney workshops will be at historic Elizabeth Bay House, a Sydney architectural treasure, and the perfect backdrop for this unique photo shoot.

WHAT TO EXPECT

With close to a decade of professional experience shooting weddings Ashley K will share her approach to photographing wedding portraits and, with the help of a model bride, demonstrate the finer points of setting up your shot, finding the best light and directing your subjects so they feel comfortable – and look natural – in front of the camera.

Each participant will be loaned a Panasonic Lumix S1 to shoot with, along with access to a selection of Lumix pro lenses and expert advice to help you get the most out of the camera.

Attendees will have plenty of time to shoot their own images and ask questions throughout the session. The event is designed to help you learn, explore, and develop your creative and technical skills.
