Now in it's 12th year, Australasia's Top Emerging Photographers, attracts the finest professional photographers and industry experts from around the world to help judge the winners in the region's preeminent competition for aspiring, emerging, and early-career photographers. Melbourne-based documentary photographers, Jesse Marlow, is on the judging panel for 2020.

Over the last 23 years, Jesse Marlow has worked for a range of local and international editorial and commercial clients. His works are held in public and private collections across Australia and the world, including the National Gallery of Victoria and the Australian Parliament House Collection. In 2003, he published his first book of photographs: Centre Bounce: Football from Australia’s Heart, (Hardie Grant Books). Images from Centre Bounce have been exhibited and published extensively, both in Australia and internationally. In 2005, he published a book of street photographs, Wounded, (Sling Shot Press).

In 2006, he was selected to participate in the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in Amsterdam. In 2010, he was one of 45 street photographers from around the world profiled in the book, Street Photography Now (Thames & Hudson). In 2011, he was the inaugural winner of the International Street Photography Prize. In 2012, Marlow won the MGA Bowness Prize, one of Australia’s leading photography prizes. In 2014, Marlow published his third monograph – Don’t Just Tell Them, Show Them. He is a member of the international street photographer’s collective upphotographers.com and an ambassador for Leica Cameras.
