Joshua Mikhaiel: Australasia's Top Wedding Photographers 2022 – featured entry

Photographer: Joshua Mikhaiel
Title: Nature as Third Wheel
Category: Portfolio

About the portfolio: My passion for the way I shoot largely stems from growing up on a farm and living pretty far from everything and spending hours staring out car, bus, and train windows at beautiful landscapes. The interplay between human connection and our connection to the landscapes we inhabit has always featured heavily in my images. I think framing couples within the landscape is a way of me reminding myself that we don't exist outside of a relationship with nature, but are in relationship with it.
