Based in Canberra, Bec Lowe is an aspiring artist, and mother to three young boys. Predominantly self-taught, Lowe first picked up her husband’s camera nine years ago, and discovered macro photography. This interest developed into her wanting to capture more natural and emotive images. Over the years, she’s dabbled in different styles of photography, and has become a primarily natural-light photographer focusing on simple, organic, candid images with a documentary feel that reflects everyday beauty.
Runner-up prize: Fujifilm X-A5 & XC 15-45mm lens (RRP $899).
