Ona Janzen is a multi-award-winning photographer based in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Primarily a portrait and wedding photographer, Janzen often exhibits her fine-art work in regional and commercial galleries. In all of her work, she aims to capture natural, often raw, poignant moments – seemingly between states – when one is most present, most conscious...and hold this space. Janzen was selected as a finalist for the Head On Portrait Prize in 2014, and has been a semi-finalist for both Head On and the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize several times. Her work has been recognised nationally at the AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards.
