Born in 1985, Yang Liu was the assistant and producer for Chinese photographer, Zhun Chen from 2008 to 2013. Following this, Liu started his own studio in Beijing, working full-time and shooting for fashion magazines. An accidental fire in his studio in 2015 saw him lose everything. Not daunted by the experience, Lui produced a series of photos in the ruins and then set about refocusing on his career. He plans to open a studio in Melbourne at the end of 2017.
