Winter in Yosemite - Yosemite National Park 2023 A photographer’s dream. With very few people around and no one hiking up in the cold, I reached a breathtaking lookout at Glacier Point. The quiet, snow-covered landscape was nothing short of stunning. Having grown up in Canada, where winter lasts six months, and now living in Australia, where snow is rare, I sometimes find myself missing the cold. In the peak of the Australian summer, while Canada is covered in snow, I long for the winters I grew up with. This photo takes me back to those beautiful, quiet landscapes and, in a way, cools me down. A small reminder of the seasons that shaped me.
