Jason Harris, Wide-eyed and wonderful (SINGLE SHOT 2026)

This image shows the curiosity of youth. A young Red Tailed Black Cockatoo was minding its business at the top of the tree when it noticed a Magpie Lark hovering above. Magpies and especially Ravens have been known to swoop and peck at Black Cockatoos but happily on this occasion there was no physical interaction. This Red Tail was seemingly observing the art of flying from another species and therefore demonstrating how nature can be truly captivating.
