I love pelicans. So just because they growl when they see me doesn't mean I could be considered a "stalker". This particular day I was there before sunrise and then on sunrise or just after: maybe for a few hours. I have never seen such beautiful light on these large birds before. I try and use my camera settings to create the natural beauty of birds and their surroundings. So most time my photos need very little editing.
