Orlanda Lucian, Volition (PEOPLE 2026)

Volition proposes that desire is ubiquitous, neither hidden nor rare - an act of decision, not aberration. This work resists the idea that erotic expression requires justification; instead, it treats these forms of intimacy as choices made with clarity and agency. In inviting the viewer to look openly rather than furtively, Volition dismantles the assumption that erotic imagery must be transgressive. What emerges is a moment in which desire is acknowledged as something intentional, structured, and entirely human.
