Time. Never has something been so constant yet so precious. When my Father was diagnosed with Cancer I asked him if I could document his journey, our journey as a family through this. It was something I anticipated going on for years, with a myriad of ups and downs, but something we would get through, we always made it through things together. He said yes. I captured everything, the beautiful, the confronting, the challenging and the comforting. I captured a courage I'd never seen before in not only Dad, but the incredible family that surrounded and supported him. One month. Between hearing Dad say for the first time, "I have cancer" and myself saying "Goodbye for now" while by his side as he left this consciousness, one month was all the time we had. I am forever grateful for each image I captured of this journey. Here are five, five of a vast many that I treasure.
