Drew Buckmaster, UTS Building Sydney (BLACK & WHITE 2026)
Black and white photographs of a modern architectural interior reveal a striking interplay of light, shadow and geometry. Glass walls frame city views, while polished concrete floors reflect lighting in crisp, patterns. Work areas sit beneath exposed steel, their clean lines softened by subtle textures of wood and matte metal. In monochrome, contrasts intensify—sunlight slices across open-plan spaces, casting dramatic silhouettes of chairs and sculptural staircases. The absence of colour emphasises structure and form, highlighting the precision, transparency, and quiet sophistication that define contemporary urban design.
