Jasmine Evans, Untitled (ART 2023)

These images were produced as part of a series of 12 colour images exploring the contradictions of the societal and cultural expectations of women, and how a woman may wish to live her life. I engaged tension as a visual device to represent the balance or precariousness (depending on how you look at it) between the societal expectation as to how a woman should live her life, and how she may wish to live her life, particularly if some of her desires may be outside the norm of what is expected of women.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
