Lucca Amorim, Untamed Neighbors (ANIMAL 2021)

Surrounded by the Australian urban jungle, Brush-tailed possums coexist with humans peacefully in perfect harmony. In the darkness of night, they set out to feed and explore while people quietly retreat to their homes. In search of food, they scour bins, invade balconies and escape to their trees with any small prize. In the first image, A young male possum invades an apartment's bin area in search of food with great curiosity and caution. The second photo illustrates an adult female which curiously seeks for day time opportunities in her part of the urbanity. The last picture is a curious young male which ambitiously overlooks down on promising chances of food.
