Nilmini De Silva, The Spider and the Dew (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

I live on the edge of Berowra Valley National Park and often wake up to find the valley I live in covered in fog. I had rolled out of bed on one such morning to go for a walk, keen to capture some landscapes in fog. I noticed the spider web in my garden on my return. The sun was just breaking out from the clouds and the light combined with the water droplets the fog left behind made a beautiful picture. The leading lines and what appears to be a fibonacci spiral were not constructed—just created by nature!
