Stewart Manning, The Painted Plateau (LANDSCAPE 2026)

This portfolio explores the layered geology and shifting light of the American Southwest. From the broad, snow-lined horizons of the plateau to the intricate erosion of the hoodoos, each image reflects the immense scale and detail of a landscape shaped over millennia. The work focuses on the relationship between light and form — how shadow defines depth, and how colour and texture reveal the structure of the land. These environments feel both vast and still, yet constantly evolving beneath the desert sun. (1) The High Rim - (2) Citadel of Stone - (3) The Canyon Bend
