I was in the Cotswolds in England recently and stumbled across the stables used to house the local hounds for the hunt. Hunting dogs, commonly know as hounds, are beautiful and majestic but watching them in their kennels, I was filled with sadness for their lives. They are well exercised and well cared for, but seeing them in their captivity made me question yet again why we need to have any form of hunting for sport anywhere in the world.
