Maria Guzman, The last of the Mapuches (SHOT ON FILM 2026)

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Laura Yefe, from the Yefe family, one of the last Mapuche families in the Callao Valley, if not the last. The Mapuches are indigenous people from Chile, where I'm from. and it was an honour to have met this woman, and have shared with her during a lunch. I asked to take her portrait, and she luckily agreed. This is one of those portraits.
