Marina Zivkovic, The Journey (Student (2018))

These six images represent my journey as a student entering the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) awards for the very first time in 2017. Images 1, 2 and 3 were entered into the 2017 NSW State AIPP awards and won me Student Photographer of the Year with the first two images (image 1 and 2) scoring silver and image 3 just missing silver. Having qualified for Nationals, images 4, 5 and 6 were entered into the AAPA awards with image 6 scoring me a silver award and images 4 and 5 just missing out, scoring High Professional Standard. Needless to say, I exceeded my own expectations. This awards journey has been very humbling and I'm extremely honoured to have received recognition for my work by the AIPP.
