The Sri Lankan leopard is the most elusive apex predator I have ever pursued. For every frame captured, there are countless hours of silence — scanning shadows, listening for alarm calls, and staring into dense jungle that reveals nothing. These cats do not simply hide; they disappear. Chasing them demands obsession, endurance, and the acceptance that the jungle owes you nothing. These images are proof that patience, sometimes, wins.
