Mohammad Rahman, The aerial view of the Padma river in Bangladesh (LANDSCAPE 2021)
Bangladesh is widely known as a riverine land and is a terrain characterized by the presence of innumerable rivers that crisscross one another. The common and prominent features of Bangladeshi rivers are the River islands, also known as the Char in this area. The char is a geographical unit made of soft alluvium brought down by rivers. This temporary land changes its shape, size and location every year during the flood in this area. The beauty of this char is one of its kinds. The mood, artistic appeal, loneliness, solitude, and tranquillity of the chars of Bangladesh, attract many art seekers who dive into the beauty of Mother Nature. The beauty of this char is unique, the land formation and the strange natural shape of the chars what interests me the most. I capture the beauty of Char in simple composition but in panoramic format to show the world its beauty.
