Audrey Richardson, Sydney In Reflection (DOCO 2026)
On December 14, 2025, a father-son duo opened fire on a crowd of civilians celebrating the first night of Hanukkah at the world-famous Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. A cherished gathering space for both community members and visitors, instantly became a scene of nightmares. The attackers claimed the lives of 15 civilians and injured 40 more, marking the deadliest terrorist incident in Australia’s history. With Australia’s last mass shooting being almost 30 years-ago, shock rippled through the community. Throughout the week following the attack, the community came together to reflect, grieve and heal from the tragedy.
