ANGELA MCINTYRE, Swipe right: a bush wedding (Wedding: Portfolio)

Sarah and Austrian native, Michael, first met on dating app Tinder, and celebrated their wedding on a small property deep in the bush in the hills above Killarney in south-eastern Queensland. The wedding was small with lots of laughs and love shared amongst close friends and family, some flying in from Denmark and Austria for the service. At the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom raced to be the first to cut their half of the heart painted on a sheet with nail scissors, in what we were told was an Austrian tradition. Michael won and claimed his prize, hoisting his new bride over his shoulder, before being driven on the back of a ute up the hill to the reception. A bush wedding to remember.
