Christine Rocher, Submerged (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

The pelican glides effortlessly across the water’s surface, its broad wings tucked close to its body. With a slow, deliberate motion, it lowers itself, the ripples expanding outward in delicate rings. Its long beak dips beneath the surface first, followed by its sleek head and curved neck, until the shimmering water swallows its form inch by inch.
