Julia Nance, Stillness and Reflection (Landscape (2018))

After a day of continuous rain, slipping on ice, and a five hour train journey everything fell together on the second last day of a five month exploration of Europe and the United Kingdom. The Scottish Highlands put on a show like nowhere else. A loch became a mirror of the sky and mountains before me, as the sun set before us with twisting clouds and pastel colours. It was a moment I never wanted to leave, but one I cherished to have had.
