Nilmini De Silva, Smokin (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

Recently, I got together with a few friends to organise a day of studio shooting to test the new lights I had just purchased. One of them organised a young friend to model for us. We had a lot of fun playing with both the lights and the props. I’ve then done some creative editing in Photoshop to end up with this image I’d had in mind. I blended in a photograph I took of a painted fence to create the spiky fence behind her. I then added the smoky effect, done with a brush I made from a cloud image to create the smoke There’s more than one reason I called this image ‘Smokin’!
