Ian Richardson, Simplicity (ART 2026)

Spending time in the landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand offers a chance to step away from the busyness of life and return to something simpler. In this series, I have taken that simplicity further still, reducing the scene to its essential elements. By removing distraction and visual noise, the focus shifts to space, balance, and flow. It becomes a study in minimalism, where less does not simply mean more — it means enough.
