John Luff, Self-Portrait with Butterflies (PEOPLE 2025)

After spending so long photographing wonderfully colourful and carefree butterflies, sometimes I had the feeling that I wanted to become one myself. To achieve that dream, in this series I juxtaposed various beautiful butterflies on top of semi-serious self-portraits. The three images chosen are entitled: 1) Self-Portrait with Monarch 2) Self-Portrait in Japanese Coat with Jezebel 3) Self-Portrait with Jezebel on Pink Rondeletia (Text and photos: JL Images)
