Jude Hungerford, Sand and sea, the daily journey (LANDSCAPE 2025)

Are these aerial shots or close ups? I noticed these extraordinary patters and rivulets in the sand on a beach in Far North Queensland. These patterns change with every moment as the sea drains from the sand with the tides and they remind me of aerial shots over sandy deserts. I love that our response to them changes whether we think they are thousands of kilometres away or close up watching the water run back out to sea.
