Kerryn Buckley, Road Kill Feast (ANIMALS 2026)

Whilst driving through the Flinders Ranges I was lucky enough to be able to stop in time and capture this beautiful Wedge Tailed Eagle feasting on a Kangaroo which became road kill sometime earlier.. The eagle was so focused on getting a feed that he was not concerned at all with me moving closer to capture some images. Even when cars passed and he flew off, he quickly returned to the road kill.
