Leeza Wishart, Red (ANIMALS 2026)

This very obliging Red-bellied Black Snake was sunning itself right beside the walking track to Boonoo Boonoo Falls and posed nicely while I reeled off a series of photographs. It was a overcast day meaning the light was stable and the colours on the snake and background were even with minimal contrasts. "Red" was a joy to photograph.
