David Newson-Tran, Quorum 0-82 (ART 2026)
Quorum is a series of in-camera photographs exploring the boundaries between the real and the constructed. Using reprojected archival photographs and LiDAR scans, both created by the artist, cast directly onto the body, the work layers digital capture with physical presence, no post-production, no digital manipulation. What you see is what the camera saw. The result is a deliberate disorientation: light and data become skin, form dissolves into projection, and the familiar turns uncanny. The work asks us to examine how readily we accept an image as truth, and how little separates the genuine from the fabricated.
