Brendan Byrne, Poser Bear - King of the North (ANIMAL 2021)

I travelled close to the North Pole to the archipelago of Svalbard to observe and photograph polar bears. This particular sighting was the best I've ever had, and tops my list of all time travel experiences. This bear was so naturally curious of us and struck so many poses, we named him Poser Bear. As we floated away in our small boat he lay sleeping atop a snowy hill against a backdrop of beautiful Arctic mountains. It was an experience I will treasure for the rest of my life.
