Ngaire Hart, Phone Power Japan (DOCO 2026)
While travelling in Japan I noticed lots of time was spent on the phone instead of appreciating the scenery. At Konnon Temple first two photos everyone took selfies dressed in Kominos. At Nara Deer Park the deer was objecting to not having its photo taken as she put her phone in her pocket. While at Mount Fiji this group of dancers took several videos, one for each person. And in a blizzard where it was -10 degrees Celcius and so cold my phone and camera eventually wouldn't work, this group of photographers hogged the best spot to get photos of the Snow Monkeys.
