Ngaire Hart, Pelican Gymnastics (ANIMALS 2026)

At Pelican Point is a pole that Pelican's sit on. Two Pelicans were perched on it peering out to see when the fishermen would return. When they did, they flopped onto the water waiting to get the left over bait. The photos seem to be missing a head; one makes the pouch look disproportionally to its actual size and the other the long beak is hidden by the way the Pelican is standing as though doing gymnastics.
