Christine Goerner, Mountain Ash (LANDSCAPE 2021)

Forests of dead Mountain Ash arranged so perfectly by nature they create a unique landscape of their own. The arrays of impossibly tall, bare tree trunks destroyed by bushfire, create an almost hypnotic pattern over the land and reveal the forest regeneration below it. Nature’s hatched lines soften the scenes of these highly textural, multi-layered mountain-scapes.
