Sally Lloyd, Morning cards - Duy Hai Fish Market, Vietnam (SINGLE SHOT 2026)

The owners of the fishing boats gather most mornings at the local coffee house once all boats have returned and the fish is unloaded. The cafe air was full of cigarette smoke and the smell of thick, strong coffee. Only 3 - 4 of the men were actually playing cards but there was a large crowd watching and cheering. The players would throw down their cards with force and flourish...irrespective of whether it was a 2 or a king. Despite watching the game for over an hour, I still had no better idea of the rules of the game.
