Benjamin Hams, Lunar New Years in Taiwan (TRAVEL 2026)

I’ve spent years travelling the world, yet moments like this still stop me in my tracks. In Taiwan, Lunar New Year unfolded in ways I never could have anticipated. The streets came alive with lanterns, glowing above crowds. Markets were filled with people buying supplies. Performances could be seen everywhere but the lion dance brought a such a powerful mix of precision, and tradition. The moment that stayed with me the most however was... Standing in a Buddhist monastery, watching a perfectly orchestrated light/laser display, everything slowed. In that moment, surrounded by culture, history, and something far deeper than I could fully understand, I turned to my friends and said, “I feel so blessed to experience this.” It was that feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be, this is what this images represent to me.
