Kym McDowell, Loughborough Fair (SHOT ON FILM 2026)

Loughborough Fair in the East Midlands of the UK has been operating for centuries. Originally chartered in 1221, it has over 800 years of history and brings together visitors and locals from all over the county. In November, the sun is setting early and two-thirds of a 24-hour day is under darkness. Warm clothing, constant drizzle and nighttime images become a photographers best friend. Under the cover of darkness, the people are less inhibited and share who they really are.
