Nick Jays, Lakes and mountains (LANDSCAPE 2026)

Three lakes, three mountains. My happy place. At the Lower Tama Lakes, a lower lake along the Tama Lakes Trail sits beneath the snow-capped summit of Ruapehu. At Two Jacks Lake, a glassy pre-dawn surface holds a near-perfect reflection of Mount Rundle. At Dove Lake, low cloud sits over Cradle Mountain while the famed boat shed stands at the edge of the lake.
