Craig Ford, Lake Wanaka Autumn Storm (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

The delicately curved trunk of this amazingly resilient willow tree seemingly grows directly out of the pristine waters of the lake, giving the appearance that the tree is floating on the surface. I decided to use long exposure techniques here to enhance the dramatic and ethereal quality of this scene as the weather closed in.
