Craig Ford, Koropuku Falls Dreaming (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

A somewhat hidden gem, a walk through this often wet and slippery section of the Catlins Forest Park is like travelling back in time. The explorer is rewarded with a magnificent view of the spectacular Koropuku Falls, surrounded by a wide variety of native vegetation which thrives beneath the dark and dense tree canopy of the forest. I utilised long exposure techniques with this image in order to enhance the ethereal qualities of the scene and to demonstrate movement in the falling water.
