Donna Cameron-Prosser, Kookaburra's Katch (ANIMAL 2025)

I was photographing this Kookaburra when it suddenly dived into the creek, grabbed this yabby and landed on the perfect branch in front of me. It then flew to a lower branch to smash it before devouring practically whole! The last picture is the after meal preening.
