Gergo Rugli, Kingdom of Bluey (ANIMALS 2026)

These images were captured at Shelly Beach, Sydney, and feature the eastern blue groper (Achoerodus viridis) within its natural rocky reef habitat. The series documents the species moving through reef structure, interacting with surrounding fish, and occupying its territory in one of Sydney’s most recognised marine environments.
