A series documenting the fragile journey of a heart transplant. It begins with the quiet exhaustion of end stage heart failure where life is measured on the hope of a phone call. This moves to the clinical intensity of the ICU where a strangers ultimate gift begins to beat in a new chest. The final image captures the arduous but triumphant reality of rehabilitation.
