Christine Houston, Hidden (SINGLE SHOT 2022)

'Hidden' express's an internal emotive turmoil to capitalize on a struggle between mental health and world issues. It plays on a balance of acceptance and tolerance and questions the actions of either being trapped or secluding oneself. To achieve this expression, a contrast was made by creating an individual concealing herself from the open but uncertain space surrounding her. Through self-portraiture and creative use of post-production techniques, 'Hidden' is made to relate on an emotional level while also communicating understanding.
