The first four images depict the Japanese folk tale of Tsuru no Ongaeshi (The Crane Wife). 1. And all the stars were crashing 'round as I laid eyes on what I'd found 2. But I was greedy, I was vain and I forced her to weaving 3. There is blood in the thread and it rakes at my heart 4. And I will hang my head, hang my head low. My other two images illustrate the work I do with my partner, who is a costume designer. Together we create scenes from folklore, games and our imagination.
